We've gone the more traditional route with this P-90® pickup and opted for Alnico 2 magnets and 42 AWG wire. The result is a tamed, warm, smooth sounding P-90®. There is plenty of attack and sweet highs, and if you like a big bottom there's still plenty of that going on here. All the P-90® personality is there in bundles. Although a great pickup for blues playing it is also a great all-round performer capable of handling a variety of modern rock styles.

We have overwound this high output P-90® pickup and utilised 43 AWG wire and carefully balanced Alnico 5 magnets. The result is an extremely versatile pickup that has a multitude of uses. Hard rock or slide players will feel equally at home with the bright, full sound that this pickup creates. The sound is fat, punchy and itching to be overdriven. It's as happy clean as it is fuzzy and can really drive an amp all the way.
