Modelled on a variation of the many wondrous PAF sounds that originated in the late 1950's. At the heart of this hand-built pickup is an Alnico 4 magnet. The coils are traverse wound in 42 AWG plain enamelled wire, just like the original PAFs and are unbalanced for an enhanced dynamic range, whilst still keeping the hum cancelling properties.
The full range of options is available for this pickup in both the neck and bridge position.
These humbucker pickups are generally sold as a calibrated set but can of course be purchased individually.
50mm spacing versions are available with short or long leg baseplates. 53mm spacing versions come with short leg only. example
