The Classic Tub SCs have a very familiar smooth even Strat® tone. From the rounded bottom to the well-defined highs, these single-coil pickups are an excellent all-rounder. The combination of the calibrated Alnico 2 magnets and 42 AWG wire are a recipe for a nicely brewed pickup.
Like the Roll Tub Tub SC, the magnet profile can be a vintage stagger or flat and the coils are scatter wound and wax potted. The middle pickup can be ordered as RWRP or Stock, with RWRP giving hum cancelling performance in positions 2 and 4. Vintage style cloth covered leads finish it off nicely.
