Here’s a great track and video from Joe Satriani. The track is “A Door Into Summer” from the 2013 album “Unstoppable Momentum”, and there’s some excellent exclusive footage from the legendary Skywalker Ranch in Lucas Valley, California.

This is a nice video clip of Eric Clapton being presented with the Harrison-Clapton “Lucy” Les Paul.

He mentions some interesting facts about the original version of this guitar. Well worth a look (and a listen!).

He’s up to his usual entertaining and informative stuff again, and this time with a lovely old 1956 Les Paul Gold Top. He’s always smiling and once again he makes this video a really good watch.

Having bought the ticket I’d been looking forward to seeing the reunion gig of the original Staus Quo for some time, and last night was the the big night. The venue was The Hammersmith Apollo, and the band was not the mostly unimpressive ‘Marguerita Time’ Quo, but the ‘frantic four’, the real Quo.

Having grown up listening to all the early Black Sabbath albums I’m very interested to hear what their latest material will sound like. I’m particularly interested in the input that the great Rick Rubin will have as a producer.
