This is our detailed re-creation of the now legendary vintage 50's PAF humbucker - but at an affordable price. For real authenticity the whole pickup receives realistic aging treatment - right down to the butyrate bobbins, slugs, screws, long leg baseplate and cover (if selected). This pickup looks, smells and sounds like a vintage PAF humbucking pickup!

In keeping with the original PAFs these pickups include:
- long legged nickel silver baseplate
- 42 AWG plain enamel wire
- vintage correct butyrate bobbins
- vintage correct 49.2mm pole spacing
- machine traverse wound
- maple spacer
- calibrated Alnico 2 bar magnet
- single conductor braided "push-back" cable
- black paper coil tape
- unbalanced coils for "zing" effect
- aged nickel silver cover
- no wax potting
These pickups are generally sold as a calibrated set but can of course be purchased individually.
